PIXEL is a series of four photographs taken in June this year of the product design Mobil Pixel Lamp, created in 2010 by Istvan Kulinyi. A lamp made of stacked triangulated cubes made from Plexiglas and neon, featured in the National Salon 2017 exhibition ALL AROUND US, at the Mucscarnok-Kunsthalle, Budapest. WOUND

“In the presence of someone who wounds the mind and soul.” Shots from the film Mia Madre by director Nanni Moretti… A particular moment in a particular film that strikes a pitch-perfect chord. “In the presence of someone who wounds the mind and soul” is being translated from Latin, yet the content suddenly hangs heavy in the air with meaning. Three generations of women, one learning, one dying and one questioning the nature of her reality. •
