Photographed in Budapest…

my favourite shots from this trip, a window belonging to an abandoned shop front. I wasn’t allowed to photograph everywhere and was moved on from certain buildings by security, however, this building was on one of the main commercial streets in Buda, the only thing I had to dodge were passers by.

What I love about these images is their beautiful texture like the quality of a beaten up photograph. The botched attempt at graffiti has resulted in paint runs that provide a focal point and drama.
